Fashion: Emily Temple Cute

I am always really happy when I look at clothes from this Japanese fashion brand called Emily Temple Cute. I’m really quite into the playful types of fashion with a quirky twist and I reckon this label fits this description down to a capital T.

Not to mention the fact that it’s extremely girly! The colours are oh so sweet and ah, don’t they look like fun clothes to flounce in?

If you would like to browse the shop, then head over to their blog here and get a dose of the cute!

Jdrama Review: Osen

I finally completed watching Osen. On the whole I enjoyed it. It was a lovely drama to watch on rainy weekend but that’s not to say that I didn’t have some disappointments.

Sad News: Lee Eon

More updates on the cast and crew of Coffee Prince. This is really sad news. I just found out that Lee Eon died in a motorcycle accident a couple of days ago.

He played the really cute but dumb Hwang Min Yeop. I don’t really have anything intelligent to say. This is just really sad and tragic.

R.I.P

Dieting in Japan

I get that Asians will be generally be lighter in the weight department but, well I don’t really want to make a sweeping statement, but I think Japan’s idea of what is fat is way different from my own perspective.

My picture is a bit too small but the girl on your left was previously 47.6kg.  She 157cm tall. Somehow isn’t that’s light enough for her height as it is? Did she really need to go all the way down to 38.3 kg? It seems so little.

The one on the far right troubles me more, she got that bobble head effect going on and her legs kind of scare me.

Please eat a sandwhich girls! They are tasty to eat.

I wonder if it’s really limited to just girls though. Just from looking at a lot of the guys from Johnny’s, you can see they’re all really skinny too.

What Big Eyes You Have!

Flipping through yet another magazine! I don’t really understand why people think circle lenses are attractive. Sure I get that wearing contacts will make your pupils (therefore your eyes in general) look larger but it just looks a little freaky to me.

I much prefer a more natural look but I guess if you’re into the glassy eyed look then it’s totally fine. Actually I’m not totally pooh-poohing the idea. I’m quite sure it would be fun to wear for a fancy dress party or for a laugh with mates when seriously drunk.

Where on earth is Gong Yoo?

I was just thinking about what I was doing this time last year. It was then that I remembered I was falling in love with Korean drama of the summer, The Coffee Prince.  I had a quick google to see what the cast members were all up to. I found out that the very lovely Gong Yoo has already started his two year military duty! (It began in January of this year)

Here’s a picture of him in his army fatigues *sniffles* I don’t know why I feel sad looking at it. Apparently he’s keeping his spirits up thanks to his many fans who are sending him lots of letters! Yay for fangirls.

Hey I’m going to say it, I have to… here it comes… FIGHTING!

Song Hye Kyo chops her hair off!

So what do we think? I wasn’t quite sure if it was erring on the side of frumpy but the more I look at it, the more I think it’s rather cute. Well after all, it is Song Hye Kyo. She could totally work the bald look too if she really wanted to.

What’s this all in aid for? Basically she’s just started shooting her new drama which begins screening this autumn! I for one cannot wait since My Lovely Sam Soon hottie, Hyun Bin, will be acting opposite her.

I think he actually disappeared for a while to do his two year stint in the military. Just glad he’s back to grace us with his hotness.

Music: Arashi’s Ninomiya Kazunari

I love Arashi. I love their stupidly hilarious variety shows! I never thought I’d really enjoy their music but what do ya know? I love a lot of their songs. They’re so upbeat and that you’ll definitely want to dance around your room like a lunatic! Anyway I think my favourite voice is Nino’s.

Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea

I really want to see this new Ghibli movie! It sounds very cute. It’s about a goldfish who wishes to be human. In the midst of her quest, she befriends a little boy called Sosuke. Awww.

p.s. That is a picture of the fish not the boy. Seriously.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland!

Found this in a Japanese magazine. Doesn’t this outfit look like so much fun to wear? Somehow it looks like it would work well in winter.

I just stumbled on a really gorgeous Korean fashion label called Sibuya. There are way too many things that I want to order from it. It’s shame that they don’t do international shipping but then again, it’s probably safer for my pocket.

I’m more of a bag lady myself so…ah they’re all so beautiful. *cries*
